Ocean Air Skyscreen

Ok, we have 3 hatches on our 1999 370DA Sundancer that have Ocean Air Skyscreens on them. Does anyone know how to take them off.:huh:

I'm not sure what yours look like but here is a generic screen that shows the little removable plug at #6 at each corner to get to the four mounting screws. If not, I'd guess the corrners on yours most likely snap off to get to the mountinng screws. I've added these to boats and had them on boats and they are pretty easy to work on.

Be careful... the corners due pop off or in my case break off and I had to order replacements from Ocean Aire.....

I'm not sure about the 1999, but I just recently replaced my hatch and the Ocean Aire was only connected via the 4 screws plus a white rubber seal on the top of the unit was lightly caucked to the window frame. However, the 1999 might be totally different.

Ocean Aire was really helpful getting replacement screen and shade fabric. It takes a while to get as they only ship from England once a month.

The four corners have little tabs that hold them in place...
Carefully wriggle them back & forth while pulling down.
They will break if done with too much force ( I did it )
Once removed you'll see 4 screws, one in each corner, remove screws and unit is removed from ceiling....

Follow their directions for replacing screen materials...
