Obama eyes domestic spending freeze

I have nothing against a spending freeze, but shouldn't this have been done long before any bailout farce?

Where do I get in line for the rose colored glasses. I will be damn if I can understand any national concepts any more? Did someone press the handle and just flush the USA down the hole?

I have written more letters to congress this year then I have in a dozen years.

let's see gov-mint bail out, I next suppose the IDIOTS in congress will jack-jaw this health care crapola through and then get this a domestic spending freeze in place

Such an obvious "play" that I find it almost insulting.
Poll numbers for the Democratic Congress and the Prez himself are in free-fall.
They're finally realizing that the "majority"- including center/right Independents and Democrats- are fed up with the record spending of this Administration of money we don't have.

So now, they're going to put on the "fiscally prudent and conservative" hat and ram that BS down our throats until next November's elections to try to keep their majority. If successful, the last two years will be more of the first.

I pray the American people aren't that stupid- for the second time.

How much would we save if we froze financial support of other nations for one year? If this is a crisis as we all say it is, just what business do we have spending money supporting other nations in this crisis? Maybe its an insignificant amount relative to the trillion dollars, but I don't think so. If your family couldn't make the minimum payments on its liabilities, would you be giving money to uncle Joe and the homeless guy with the sign standing in traffic?
