It’s a trip I’ve made a bunch of times. Circling Manhattan completely is really nice. My favorite is going north up the East River for our trips upstate, under the bridges and past the UN, then continuing up the Harlem River past Columbia’s Sports field, then out Spytun Duyvil and continuing up the Hudson. On the return trip we stay south on the Hudson past the West Side of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty on the other side. It’s a trip filled with beautiful views, including the ones on the Hudson with mountains on both sides and past West Point.
