Now where did I park my boat???

Another boat for sale that hasn't been maintained in 2 years.

There's got to be more to this story  you just don't park the boat and walk away, not for two years.

I love the sensationalist (read: Idiotic) reporting. Maybe in Europe, where they tax people at ridiculous rates for autos so I assume boats are the same, you have to be "rich" or "very wealthy" to have a boat like that?

I would like to think a "rich guy" would have a lot bigger, fancier boat than the 35 footish Sundancer style boat in the picture. I don't know what brand it is from sight.

The story did say that he had a vague recollection of selling the boat. He did indeed think he had sold it. I ran into a boat here locally that the owner, and I quote "I almost forgot about that one". It was like a 2008 300DA. He had let it sit in the weather, uncovered for almost two years when I found it.

I did a little surfing & found that the average annual salary over there is pushing $100K US, BUT the cost of living is crazy. 30+% income tax, 30+% for "modest" housing cost and take out pizza $50 US. So Im betting this guy isn't your average working class guy. He probably has two other boats and 3 (or maybe 4, I cant remember) cars.

If the docks are only 4x4's he probably couldnt get back on it.Those are wierd docks.

Sounds like you're assuming that's his only boat...

Sweden was voted in the top ten safest places to live in the world. Which would account for the key tied to the rail. I have many friends who live there. One of my friends son lost his wallet and it showed up in the mail a couple weeks later with everything, including the cash, still in it.
The irony is that Sweden is one of the top producers of precision armament and weapons in the world.

The cost of living there is out of sight by NA standards but they do have many benefits we do not have. Having 2 or 3 boats is not uncommon and they love NA cars. On any given warm day you will see anything from 60 era Caddy's to Olds 442's driving all over.

Enjoy the attached picture of down town Eskilstuna, Sweden.

Don't Euros almost always dock stern in? I thought that was why almost all of the larger European boats have Passerelles. If that is true, what is weird is that this guy is in there bow first.
