But how cool would it be to park in your garage? That boat house is over the top.

Uummmm! This house is too far north! This house should be about 1060 miles south to get any real use out of it. IMHO.

I believe that's Mr. Winns ( as in "Four Winns) summer house. I also saw it in a boating mag. Believe it was for sale in case there are any takers out there.

I've been a guest there and it is spectacular. In addition to the "garage" that is shown above there is a work/machine shop that is to die for. All of the boats can be lifted and moved to the workshop to be serviced. He can perform complete restorations of any boat in his collection and can rebuild engines as well. The "parts department" consists of row of bins and drawers full of every type of fastener or part needed to fix a boat. When you sit in his living room you look out over Round Lake to the north or into his "garage" of boats to the east. The water is crystal clear and the boat look like models floating in the air.

Well yes... that is what's pointed out in the OP's link.

The whiny liberals on this site will no doubt ***** that no one person should own such a home. Maybe they can sub-divide and let the less fortunate us it. Hell, I would buy it except , based on the pictures, the neighborhood does not have underground utilities.

Does anyone want to go in on as a Timeshare Corp. ??.

I think we can make some good return $$$$$... From the movie stars & the super rich.

Price started out around 13 million. It does have water in the basement.

Put that place in California in 2006 and it would go for $20M now it would go for about $4M. :smt089

Actually, when I had my contracting business in full swing, I did a house that would dwarf that one. The main building was over 26,000 square feet. There are so many over the top homes like that it's amazing. This house in particular was built by a married couple in their 60's. They lived there by themselves along with their man-servent.

Kind of sad. It's kind of like the Russian with the yacht "W" that has no real friends but has a yacht that's almost 400' long!
