A nice, slow, warm ramp to summer...anyone remember when we used to have those? Spring is so depressing these days.

I thought for sure keeping my snow blower out for another month would do the trick. Apparently not. Sorry, guys. I did what I could.

Yup - rain starting this afternoon turning to snow by tomorrow here. I assume it’s headed your direction.

Nothing new here. I always get some snow on my winter cover in late March or early April.

I saw guys fishing on Spring Lake yesterday. People have their yards cleaned up and the streets are clean. Cleaned my garage yesterday so we are ready for summer. Supposed to have winter like weather this week, but that is likely the last big storm of the season.

Next person who tells me about global warming getting worse is going to get a dick kick from me.

Great Lakes Satellite Image from a few days ago. That is ice on Georgian Bay in the middle and in the inland bays. Our marina is at the end of the blue arrow. Our summer place at the red arrow. It doesn't take long for the ice to melt once we get into April. They are booking launches starting mid April.

Close enough to spring, thought it was ok to post. Yesterday after we tied up.

And....it's snowing again. April 18. Snow. Accumulating snow. I just don't know why we put ourselves through this up here.

On the bright side, allegedly it'll be in the 70's this weekend! Oiy.

I’m looking out there and shaking my head as the white powder falls. I have a boat arriving tomorrow in Grand Haven, MI that I will need to ferry from the launch to my slip. It’s gonna be cold, but wonderful!
