When I bought my boat a few years back. the aft seating has what looks like dirt streaks on it. the cockpit seating is in great shape just the aft bench and side have stains. The PO said it was from diesel soot and it cleans right off. since I had the boat I never experienced any soot or smoke. no matter what I try I can't clean it off.

What are the things you've tried? Roll Off?

So you're probably going to need to keep going to stronger and stronger stuff until you find something that works. Assuming you have done the various vinyl cleaners, move up to a degreaser and a brush. If that doesn't work, you may need something a little more abrasive -- the old magic eraser. Go easy with it and don't use it often (i.e.; more than once). Make sure you re-apply protectant when you're done.

Is it possibly mold????

Been away to see colleges in Texas over the weekend. I'm going there tonight and will take a few pics. I tried to roll off. I sued the brush on a drill. maybe I need to let it soak??
