Hard to explain, but basically my only boating experience is with my 240 or smaller boat nothing with a cabin nothing with a bridge.

I'm not ready to purchase but I'd like to atleast know what I want so I know what to be looking for.

So far I know I want a cruiser, the part I don't know is size and DA or DB I've been on both types in the show room and I seem to like the DA better like a 320 or bigger, but I've not been on either on the water so I don't know how they defer and would like to be able to atleast ride around on both just to get an idea how they feel don't need to drive them yet but that would be nice as well. I could just go to MM but to have the sales guy just go for a joy ride with out any intention of purchasing anything isn't fair to him. It could be a few months it could be a few years, but if I know in advance exactly what I want/like then if something used came along with the right price then I would know for sure if it's what I wanted.

Follow me? Anyways I'd even be willing to pay for some gas if that's what it took to take a little ride.

Any ideas what I should do?

MM usually has some type of in water boat shows. In my area they usually take people out in groups to see how they ride etc... go to the MM website and look at the events calender for upcoming events and shows.

I agree with RiverRat.....you may want to go to a captains class that MM provides. I went to one, they allowed us to decide on how large of a boat to take out as well.
