350 Mercruiser w/Alpha One drive
I recently acquired a '89 SeaRay 220 DA Cuddy Cabin!! It is powered by a 350 v8 w/ mercruiser alpha one outdrive!!! The engine is brand new. Never been fired. When I asked the problem they were having with it I was informed they wasn't able to get power to the dash. This weekend I'm gonna bypass the dash and attempt to remote start the engine. If that works I'm gonna go from there. My question is can anybody tell me how I can get a wiring schematic of my boat? Reason being in the process of swapping out motors the previous owner also was changing out the instrument cluster. I was told that he swapped gauges from their original position. I was also wondering if anyone could show me a pic of what their dash cluster looks like so I can put the dash back in the way it was from the factory. If anyone has any of these let me, I would greatly appreciate some assistance in this. I'm itching to get this boat in the water!!! Thank you!!!

If you just want to fire the engine apply power to the ignition system and starter and fire it with a remote starter button
I would recommend hooking in a mechanical oil pressure and temp guage to monitor it at the engine through warm up
just like hotwiring a 65 chevy

I'm already planning on remote starting the engine this weekend. I'm just needing sum general idea as to what the other problems could be on this once I rule the engine out. Thnx for your assistance on this. You wouldn't by chance happen to have a pic of what the actual dash looks like and also the back seat and hardware looks like?? The guy have up on the boat so I'm trying to get her back together!!
