Folks,

I upgraded my VHF to a Raymarine. Have the Northstar NS100 that I took out. I plan to put on Ebay but I figured I'd throw a post here first. Let me know if anyone is interested.

What are you asking for it? With all of the problems associated with this radio...Hard to judge the value. Mine will only receive with the squelch at "0" and then its not very far. Not sure if its my antenna or the NS100 that I have been reading about.
In any event I may be interested for the right price. Thx.

put it on eBay, you're likely to get over $600 for it. Even though it is universally hated, many boat owners don't want to cut a new hole in their dash for a different design.

My NS100 cord is shedding more than my dog. Interested in handset to get by until my next allowance from my wife so I can splurge on a Simrad or Icom or a nice 8 track.

The only damage on mine at all is the pins in the handset plug where it connects at the helm. Hit it with my knee one too many times. Do you think there's anything you can do with it?

Appreciate the thought. Probably not. I was going to create another barnacle reef with my unit since the handle/cord was entirely duck taped. Was actually shopping new radios when I saw this post to see what others folks were buying and replacing their units with. Thank you.

Mine is pretty much in great condition. I was going to put on ebay for $300. I'll post pics tonight. Just IM me if interested.
