Northstar 6100i card slot

Just purchased a new to me 44 Sedan Bridge with a 6100i Northtar GPS unit in it. Attached are two pictures that show the card slot. There is no manual on the boat for this unit and I am trying to figure out if there is some type of adapter that takes the much smaller Navionics SD card. Or is there some kind of much larger card that goes into this lot? I have not uploaded pictures before to this forum so my apolgies if I screwed them up. Thanks.

Its ashame the West Marine guy could not have been a little more dilligent. Thank you.
 
Do not let it the 6000i get wet. .....mines worhtless now. The inside of my screen is covered in water and it beeps every 3 seconds ALL DAY LONG and I cannot see anything on the screen whatsoever....

Sorry to hear that. I have not had any issues with mine getting wet (which it does....all the time).

My previous Northstar was ruined when some idiot decided to clean it with a pressure washer.
 
I got stuck in a heavy rain 2 weeks ago and it was fine when I left it, but I got back to my boat this past Saturday and took the cover off and it was all messed up. Needless to say, I was PI$$ED. I kept hoping the sun would dry it out and maybe it would work again, but as the day went on the water started running down the inside of the screen so I'm sure it probably won't work again. The worst part is the continous beeping noise......
