Northeast boater coming to Chicago

I leave Wednesday am from boston..........The first night we are eating at N9ne Steakhouse (http://n9ne.com/).....The second night I wanted to go for view so we are eating at The Signiture Room (http://www.signatureroom.com/Home/).............I am sure Thursday we will do a lot of walking and some sightseeing........We are staying at the Elysian (http://www.elysianhotels.com/).....If anyone knows of a real quiet jazz club in the area that would be nice.....I dont want loud...Quiet and romantic.......Jazz is good foreplay! If any of the boaters from the area know of a really kewl boaters bar on the lake that is laid back and has caribbean feel, that would be great.......​
 
I've been to Chicago 3-4 times for conventions. Love the city, lots to do and plenty of nightlife. I've been to the N9ne. Excellent food. Can't help with the jazz..we went for the loud. Have a great time.
 
My wife and I had dinner at Deca at the Ritz Carlton a few Saturdays ago and they had a nice Jazz group with a singer in the bar area you might want to consider. Another would be Sullivan's Steakhouse on Dearborn has live music. There are many others but these are two we been to in the past few years.
 
I'm not sure if its open this time of the year but I frequent Bridgehouse Tavern http://www.bridgehousetavern.com/ quite a bit by boat as its one of the only places on the river to pull up and eat and drink. Its a pretty neat setting being right on the river. You can also go down the way by The House Of Blues where you will find Dicks Last Resort if you feel like being humiliated http://www.dickslastresort.com/domains/chicago/

And finally if you want a somewhat boat-y environment you can check out Weathermark Tavern http://www.weathermarktavern.com/ which I like a lot.

I would check these places out if you're up for an adventure!
