OK Where is Preque'isle I cannot find it on a map... and I'm getting tired. And where's the POOL?

Presque'isle is between Rogers City and Alpena. The Pool is the ultimate destination in boating. It's at the end of Baie Fine. A long ride but worth it. Mrs. Evinrude had a cottage on an island in The Pool.

OK had to ZOOM in on the map then it showed up, I can see what you mean, I don't necc. need to go into the georgian bay.. I'm thinking more around the manitoulins and Killarny..

Tobemorey way too far.

I found the POOL and we're going there, I've got to take her there she'll love it,.

I've been going to the North Channel every summer for holidays for the last 7 years. This past summer I spent 7 weeks there and only 5 or 6 nights at a dock, the rest of the time on the hook. This past summer the wife said to me after 7 years, she would rather anchor out than be at a dock,:smt001 took her long enough. This summer we won't be boating up there, our youngest daughter is getting married but we will drive up and spend some time at the lodge in Killarney and meet our friends that have spent every summer for the last 38 years on the North Channel and Collins Outlet. With having 2 weeks you might want to limit your travel too, Collins Inlet (stay on Mill Lake), Covered Portage Cove, Heywood Island, Little Current, to shop get a pump out and fuel, then the Baie Fine and then back to your launch area. This would allow you to take your time cruising and see the area, not just pass through on a whirl wind trip.

I must warn you once you go there you will want to go back every year.
