The latest update is that we're supposed to get 2ft of snow tonight going through Sunday morning. Sure is a far cry from what is was like a few months ago!

I'll post some pictures if I remember...

Tell me about it, it is only 9am and we already have 5 inches on the ground. The heavy stuff it supposed to come later today….. Crap!:smt013

Yep, we're in the same "boat" (no pun intended). I don't have quite the same view as you though :)

Wow Bill, I know you said you lived next to the marina, but I didn't think it was that close. You need to cut an access gate in that fence so you can easily walk to the boat without cutting yourself on the barbed wire.

I have been so tempted….I been thinking a pool ladder would work. The winter sucks though when they line the boats up there.

we're looking at about 6" so far but the bad part of it isn't supposed to hit until this afternoon and then go all night. 2 feet total is what we're getting out here (in Frederick, MD).

Hey Bill.........the Raven van may not be able to cut thru this stuff tomorrow, probably have to take the Chevy 4 x 4. Ravens vs. Bears has been pushed back to a 4:15 kickoff. They are going to have 500 people working all day and night to get M & T Bank stadium ready, they get to spend the night on the club level. One good thing about all this snow is it will definetly keep all the bandwagon/fairwether fans away Sunday, just like last Sunday.

P.S.....go over and check on my boat. just kidding

how do you post picts like Bill did?

You need to start an account on www.photobucket.com, it is free. You can then upload the pictures to that site. Once loaded when you post here use the “insert image” tab and it will prompt you with “enter the URL of your image. Copy the URL link from photobucket that is directly under the picture entitled “Direct Link”, and paste it into the URL dialog on CSR. I usually have both CSR and Photobucket opened at the same time when I do this.

You need to add Monster Truck tires and suspension to that Van. While you’re at it why not add the shocks that make it jump up and down in the street. That would be cool!

This pic is from this morning. It's still snowing pretty good right now, and as of 1300 I have 13" outside the garage.

WOW!!! We are supposed to get 12-16 up here now that they updated the forecast. It's great!!! I love Saturday snow, makes me feel not so guilty that I am not out Christmas shopping!!!

Hey Bill is that my boat behind your house? The anchor looks like ours and it looks to be around our size...

I'll have to get down there after the snow clears to check her out!!!

Have a great time down there with the snow.

Snowblower is all gassed up and ready to go... I guess the snow blower makes me like the snow a bit more then before...

we have to be at the 14-18" mark at this point. I shoveled a path to the wood pile to keep the woodstove stocked. at least this is forcing me to finish up some indoor trim work...

Haha... I'm upstairs taking a break from making 3 new door jambs right now. Gotta get the inside of the house done before April. I plan on launching early this year!

we are slated for a foot but it hasnt started yet...WTF...I HATE winter

skibum, I JUST finished the door. I replaced an old aluminum slider with a vinyl a few weeks ago and had a bunch of blocking/trimming to do. I guess you could say this weather finally held me to it. As of 10:47pm, I have a final coat of paint! I HATE paint. BTW, it's still snowing....

I had the front end loader out earlier this evening and built the kids a 12' tall snow pile that we'll probably turn into an addition to the house tomorrow :) Once I started sliding sideways down the driveway I gave up - the ice started to set in.

I am really looking forward to a March launch.
