Norcold de 0041 does not fit through the cabin door of Searay Sundancer 1995 330

Hello Everyone:

Our old fridge broke down. We bought a new one but we can’t get it through the cabin door of our Searay Sundancer 1995 330. Any suggestions?

We had to remove the whole door and frame, and the fridge door, to get it into our 01 380

We removed the cabin door and the fridge door, but not the frame. How did you remove the frame?

Sorry just looked and it was just the door. So with the doors off and the fridge one off it won’t fit? It’s supposed to be very tight

You should be able to remove the fridge door and the hardware, compressor, etc. off the back... then it should fit through the cabin door.

I had same boat, same problem. Yes, you need to disassemble the new fridge, then the "box" will bearly fit. Tape the door edges and protect all the vinyl from tears & marks (ask me how I know). Then reassemble and install. The "cooling plate" in the freezer comes out the back. It, the compressor etc are all one unit and can be removed/intalled with out disturbing the freon, etc. It is a pain, but doable, and worth it. We were very happy with the new one
