We took delivery of our 2011, 310 Sun Dancer with twin 5.7 Seacore engines with Axius. During theshake down cruise an alarm sounded through the Vessel View stating “NonCritical Alarm” Internal Compass not installed correctly or working” (Paraphrasing here).
The dealer called Mercruiser and their response was theelectronic compass may not be installed in a proper location. Since it was installed by Sea Ray ans I amsure I am not the only 310 out there with Axius I don’t think it’s the issue. The dealer is having me use anotherMercruiser repair shop (on their dime if not warrenty) that has more experiencewith the Vessel View.
Has anybody seen this error?
My fear is the new repair shop will not give me priority,not being their customer.
