Noise at cruise ..... Sea Ray has an answer.... Things we can do?

It seems Sea Ray is marketing a new approach to a quieter ride.

I know someone here was concerned about the db level at cruise. Maybe some of these new ideas can be added to the existing fleet. They are claiming results of a 6 db decrease. That's pretty big....

I have been curious about what all they did. From that page it lists:

*ENERGY-DISSIPATING HULL LAMINATE
*FULL-BEAM BULKHEADS
*BONDED STRUCTURE AND BUFFERED HULL:
*TUNED TRANSOM
*FIT AND FINISH

Hard to know exactly how much those each contribute. Does anyone have a boat with this tech that can chime in? Does it have different or more foam?

I would like to know if it is worth investing in some type of dyno-mat type sound material.
