I have a 2008 Sundancer with a MCM 5.0L MPI with 96 hours on it. My problem began about a month ago with an outing where the boat started off sluggish. By that I mean increasing the throttle would not increase the RPMs beyond 2200. Reminded me of a car with a bad catalytic converter. Eventually it did increase rpms and I blew it off to possible moisture in fuel. The boat operated flawlessly after its low start. I ran tank to near empty and replaced with fuel at marina (non-ethanol). I took boat out about a week later and same problem, but it never resolved. I went back and changed fuel filter assuming it must be clogged. Took boat back out and could never get above 2200 RPMs. Had a mechanic ride with me. He tested fuel pump pressure and said it was fine. He hooked up computer and said there were no error codes. He suggested inspecting distributor cap and replacing plugs. He said if that didn't resolve issue he would have to replace fuel injectors.

Few other notes: props are original with boat and are not damaged, hull is clean, and regular manf. maintenance performed, and boat is dry docked.

Any ideas? Thanks

I had a similar issue, turn out to be a bad sensor. Pull aplug to see if its fouled out if it is go have someone put it on a scan and they would be able totell you which sensor.
