No power to TV

On my '06 290DA, I am getting no power to the cabin TV. I pulled the power plug from the back of the TV and tested it for power... none. The cord goes into a hole behind a cabin, how do I follow that, do I need to pretty much dismantle the interior? Oh, the DVD player is getting power, I'll assume that they are on the same fuse.

Check the GFI breaker. These are usually located with the AC outlets, you probably have 2 or 3. The TV is usually wired to one of these GFI outlets.

Yes, check your GFI's first. But your TV (assuming like mine and your talking about in the main cabin area) is plugged into an outlet accessible from the removable panel where the glomex antena gain knob is. Check your outlet but I suspect your GFI or breaker is tripped. Your DVD player is powerd differently. Not plugged into that outlet. I think its on a 12volt feed.

What great suggestions fellas. It will be a while before I can address this as my boat was grounded and is now at the boat fix it place but I can't wait to try to address this issue. I thought I'd have to hire someone to come down to help me with this. I love this forum.
