Went to the boat today and noted that my charger has zero power.....power green light doesn't even turn on. Fuse appears fine, tried another, switches are on, etc. Any ideas or do they eventually just die? Batteries are still ok.

Put a multi meter to the AC power in put . If no AC then trace back to the main breaker, inspect the wiring, if the wiring is tight, then test continuity across the breaker polls. Needless to say you have to disconnect your shore power.

inside there are probably 2 or three fuses, check to see each fuse (1 per bank) are ok

Thanks to both. I checked out the website tonight- progessive dynamics 2030 - one 30 Amp fuse in mine. I have a feeling I need a new one.

Please keep us posted.....i'm always thinking about loss of power.....:smt009

I did find another post (finally) where someone had the same charger and was told by Progressive Dyn (back in 2007) that the 2030 was "defective", and was given a reconditioned one for $75. So I sent them a nice note....
I have my "mechanical limitations" however and probably won't take this too far on my own. I did fix the tohatsu 6hp today however so not all is bleak... :).
