Boat has whites nav on aft but nothing on front. Tried new bulbs, one balb starboard side burnt out. Then replaced both light fixtures port and star. Of course checked both breakers under counsel and bilge. No lights. Any fuses or hidden compartments. Also when I turn nav lights on EIM green light comes on and turns on the rear white nav light. Any suggestions?

EIM green light comes on

What is that???

Sounds like you've lost power somewhere along the way.....bad fuse....broken wire somewhere....bad/loose/dirty connection somewhere...bad ground. Automotive and/or marine electrical can be such a pain sometimes.

Time to start tracing wires and checking all connections perhaps.

When tracing wires becomes to difficult/awkward....I've oftentimes simply abandoned what's there and run new wires. Then I at least know for sure what I've got and where it is.

Good luck.

The nav light switches are usually 3 position switches. I have to replace them before so it wouldn't surprise me it the switch was bad. Since it is working for the anchor light, you could try moving the wires around to see if you can get the front nav lights to work.

Thanks I plan to tear into the cousel next and check connections
Thanks for input
