350mag B3,
Ok, we're lovin the 75 degree days on the boat this weekend but tonight and the next few are going to be cold. The heat seems to have crapped out, pumps pumping, fans blowing but it's cold air. I've got good water flow, water temp at about 55 and no codes on the controller. My fan is set to run slow speed continuosly and kicks to high when the pump cycles, but now it goes to high then slows right back to slow for some reason. Last weekend it wouldn't stop running even after the actual temp was several degrees above the set temp. I played around with it, cutting power to it and back on etc. Seemed to work ok but now this weekend, nothing. Any tips on what to try, where to look for probs?

The unit is in heating mode? You can set them to cool, heat, or automatic switching between heating and cooling. Is the heating indicator lit? If it is in heat mode and the indicator is lit, then the reversing valve is stuck or bad. The valve has refrigeration lines and electric wires to it. When the system kicks into heat mode, the valve should click. A light tap might help.

Best regards,
Frank

Had a similar problem with no heat. The technican from MM knew exactly what it was, he replaced a wire to the reversing valve that was off. He indicated this is a common problem with Cruise Air systems. I wasn't at the boat so I'm just repeating his comments.

Thanks Frank and Mike. I turned it to AC and it was working fine and blowing cold. Turned it back to heat and tapped on the said valve and it seems to be working again.

I told my wife we were going to have to create heat by friction.............. not even a change of expression :smt013
