No Display on Radio or Helm Remote?

All of a sudden, the displays on both are gone. The radio still works, but you cant see anything. Its the stock Clarion radio and help remote on my '05 320DA. Has anyone experienced this and found out what could possibly be wrong? It also seems that none of the buttons on the radio work all of a sudden too...Damn gremlins!

Had something similar happen on mine. Turned out one of the remote control units went bad and it affected the entire system. Disconnecting the transom control temporarily solved the issues. Replaced it 2 weeks ago with a new one and all seems fine.

Might also check the wiring for a blown fuse.....mine has an extra "power" wire....black and white for power (usually to the ign switch) and a 3rd constant hot....to maintain radio presets and display....mine has a small 3 amp fuse in it.....blown once and all presets went away as did the display on both remotes....
