no all around white light on a 270 DA?

I just noticed that my recently purchased 1998 270 DA doesn't have an all around white light for night running (it has a remote spotlight up front, but I don't think that counts). I haven't taken it out at night because I just got the green and red nav lights fixed, so I only noticed the lack of a white light recently. For anyone who has a similar boat, did Sea Ray really not include this (I thought, mandatory) feature on purpose? Are there little battery operated lights that one can mount somewhere on the boat so that I don't have to worry about the extra wiring? Am I missing something here?

Thanks in advance for all of your helpful advice!

Is it possible that it is a pole type light which mounts in a socket on the aft part of the boat? Maybe stored under a seat? Just a guess.

For navigation lights you could have a stern light and masthead light rather than an all-around light. BUT, you still should have a 360 degree anchor light.

On our boat this light is longer than most. It is this length to go over the bimini sight line. It mounts in two rubber holders in the engine compartment, towards the gas tank. Yes, I did say in the engine compartment! Jump in the engine compartment and look forward. It is very tricky to weasel out of there around the grey water tank, but it is doable.

Let us know if it is there.

Found it - thanks so much for the help. And no, that wasn't a test, but if it was, everybody gets an A!
