NMEA 2000 compatable 496 mag

I'm looking to upgrade the electronics and Im wondering if my Mercruiser 496 MAG (2008) can be interfaced with a new Raymarine A68, so I can show all my engine functions on the screen. It currently does not have smartcraft on the boat.
If so what cable is needed?

Ping JayWoodz. I believe he did it with his non smartcrafts via maretron and other stuff.

I did it with my 496 using a MercMonitor. Very easy to do. Just plug and play.

I looked into it when I had my '08 280DA with the single 496 and it was doable. I sold the boat and never did it but I was told it was plug and play just as 66pony said.
