I have a question ands this example will probably be best (I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE NMEA 2000 BACKBONE) lets say you have three "T" on your backbone mounted behind you helm station console.
One "T" goes the chart plotter, One goes to the VHF radio, but the 15 foot cable running from your outboard will not reach. So my question is this?
Can one obtain a 2 meter NMEA 2000 cable and connect it to the 15 foot NMEA 2000 cable coming form the outboard making about a 22 foot cable and then connect this to the NMEA 2000 backbone "T?"
Thanks
