Went for the first time there last week. Stayed in Bayonne (free apartment) and learned the cab ride, light rail , subway modes of transportation traveling from Brooklyn to the Bronx, seeing everything we could for 5 days. . Gotta say we had the most helpful people all along the way. We'd be studying our map and people would just ask if we needed help. We had the best time visiting on the rides ( ok so us couple of oklahoma boys like to talk.. Most would humor us pleasantly ) we had one puss of a cabbie but we had him laughing by the end of the ride.
Anyway it was one of the easiest , best trips I've had in a long long time ( and for less than a $1k :smt038)
Hoboken was a lil scary tho when we come up to the street and theirvSt Paddys day celebration was going on! Holy crap!!
I want a boat ride next time tho. :smt001
