Nice Weather coming: Freeport Weekday resturants?

Hey, The Weather looks to be improving, Any suggestions for Freeport with easy docking and still open for lunch during the week other then Ottos.
First time by Boat any cautions? I assume Local town Bouys should be out.

I was looking at the route from lindenhurst. GSB south at Amity cut State Chanel than right ( north) at Zacks bay then left ( west) and right turn ( north) before jones inlet and stright up to Freeport. I Tried to stay north all the way with GPS but there must be 50 turns and some skinny water. I am leaving at high tide. Anyone stay up north through the Bridges. I guess its more scenic. John G

Hi John,
The Schooner has plenty of large easy docking. It's the first on your port side entering Woodcleft next to the Texaco station.
Looks like Sunday would be the day to go.

Hey, :smt038 What a Great day on the Great South Bay. No waves, No wind and 70 Degrees. What could be better. Schooners at Freeport was very nice. Looks like I will need another 1/2 day off tommorow heading east to Fire Island. John G.
