:smt038 I owned a 200 sea ray 1990 and recently sold it and bought 2003 260 DA and in love with this new ride. Had to put a few shekels into the beast, but now is kicking some ass. I am in Southern California in Redondo Beach King Harbor in a slip and the wife and I have done 3 trips to our local island-santa catalina which is 26 miles across the sea, as the song goes. first trip two hours, second trip 3 hours and a little lost and last one an hour and eight minutes blasting along at 26 knots. Hot water heater gives off tiny bit of warm water, but having the hoses checked as we speak. Single engine 350 with Bravo III. Wife just spent fortune on new bedding and electric blanket for v birth-now is comfy Love this site

Sounds great. We had resevations about hot water that was heated by the engine but we tried it for the first time on the weekend and it is definitely hot. You could heat it through the shore power outlet from your genset too I think. Have fun, and post some pics of your excursion to Catalina.

Welcome to CSR! I owned a '03 280 Da for 6 years and loved it! Enjoy your new ride!

@larbaby2th - Welcome to CSR! I live in MB, but boat out of nearby MdR. We also go to Catalina 3-4 times each year. How does the 260 handle the swell?
