Hey all...

I have a 1993 7.4 Ltr Mercruiser Bravo on the boat....This being my first boat, the guy told me that I have an 18 prop on there currently that he purchased for better wakes. I want to tap into my 330 HP.

What kind and size of Prop should I buy?

I have tried going online to get info, but dont know where to look..HELP!?!?!?!?!?!

WOT RPM's

bks, you need to determine your boat's WOT (wide open throttle)
range is and get a prop that puts your motor in that range with your normal load of gear, fuel, people, etc.
Not sure what the range is for that particular motor but I am sure some of the guys can help you with that.

Weave is right. You need to know where you are now before knowing what or if you need to change props. If you call a prop shop and they don't want to know hard data such as WOT RPM and MPH (by GPS) then they want to sell something rather than get you the right prop.

I think you'll need to be in the 4200-4600 RPM range at WOT.
BTW, an 18p doesn't sound right. 17p or 19p maybe.

I'm not sure how they got a bigger wake with a prop. You can get a bigger wake with any prop, plow just off plane and you have it.
