Hello CSRers!

I have a newbie question for ya... "What is WOT?"

I have been reading post after post referencing low end WOT and high end WOT ranges. What is it and how do I measure it?

CSR needs a glossary of terms to help with the learning curve. :smt021

Thanks!

Wide Open Throttle. Full tilt, give her all she's got, burning fuel at maximum... having a ball...

So with a name like "lv2bunderwater" you must be a diver? Certainly hope that is not where you luv your boats to be

I'm a PADI Divemaster, lv2bunderwater, too.

ChuckW,

Yes a diver! I am a PADI DiveMaster as well, but haven't been active for almost 15 years. Now it is just rec diving here and there on family vacations. Who knows... I might give Lake Michigan a try now with the boat. I would need to get use to a dry suit as the temp is a little different than FL. :)

Nice to meet you and thanks for your quick reply!

James

StrayCat,

Okay, I will bite. What is "WFO".

Please don't tell me it's some new "text message" thing that my kids haven't taught me yet...

Nice, yes the water is colder. I do most of my diving in New England. Did my rescue certification in Feb off Gloucester. 43 degree water, 35 degree air temps, 6mil wet suit. Now that was a cold day, I'm still shivering some 10 years later.
