Newbie looking for a 460 Sundancer.

Hi All,

I have finally let my wife convince me that we need a boat of our own. We have been enjoying our friends boats over the years and with the kids out of the house we have more time/money to do as we please. We want to boat on the Lake of the Ozarks and went to the Marine Max dealer there to look at used boats. We decided on the Sundance series and want a 40' min but really like the cabin layout on the 46DA. We are looking for an earlier one but after reading the posts on here we want to investigate the Balsa Core issues further. Any input would be appreciated.

The search feature will help you with much info. Also fwebster has a sticky on the home page about this. After 2001, this problem was (i believe) totally resolved. ps... check out 450's also

I am struggling through the search engine on here but have found alot of info on the cored hulls etc...

I welcome any tidbits of useful info that anyone thinks may help.
