Newb from Kentucky!

Another newbie here to the forum from Kentucky! Lexington here though!

A little background about me...

I'm a photographer by trade and work in law enforcement to pay the bills and for the toys. I grew up in a Sea Ray family, and finally bought one for my family. Its a 1993 220 Bowrider with a 5.7 Mercruiser and Bravo I O/D. It also has Corsa's captian call exhaust on it. It's not my favorite color, so I'm in the process of stripping off the old decals and I'm going to cover the boat in black vinyl where its currently green. The interior is in dire need of cleaning and I started that process two days ago- what a chore when people don't take care of their stuff! I'll probably recover the seats over the next winter, but for now, I'm gonna do the hull and just ride!

You could possibly paint over that easier than vinyl. There is a member here named Heather (aka Spookeay) that restores boats and uses paint. Here is some work on a waver runner. check out her other videos

Monaco Mike- Thanks!Wish2Fish- Thanks for the video. I think it would look good! :smt043 Here's a quick photoshop I did of the boat. I like it 3/4 black, but that's a lot of vinyl. Honestly, it's temporary until I could can do it right and I can get vinyl cheap (brother-in-law has a vinyl shop).

Welcome aboard! I too like the second look. Pull it another hour and a half or so south and come on down to Knoxville! We would love to have some more Cats fans here in the land of Orange. (We grew up in Louisville, but the admiral and I both went to UK.). There's a lot of folks on here ready to help if you need it, just ask.

Thanks everyone! Dean- we'll be back and forth at Conley, State/Jamestown. I might try the second full black look. It's just a lot of vinyl. Definitely my favorite though.
