New transom - trim switch won't work

I recently replaced my old Bravo III transom with a new smartcraft enabled transom. After the installation, I am having to use the trailer trim switch to bypass the limiter in order to trim my drive up. Down is not a problem. Anyone had this problem? Are the new smartcraft transoms not compatible with the old Quicksilver 3000 classic throttles?

Any advice is much appreciated.

not sure about compatibility... but seems like if the drive goes up and down its the adjustment of the trim limit switch that needs to be adjusted
