LOL, I wish I was a bit faster. I ran into a strong headwind today and ended up going backward. I had to make my way to the shoreline to make forward progress.
I've been boating on Lake St. Clair for about 15 years and I saw my first school of fish today. I think this thing will give me yet another perspective of the lake.

Nice Video. Just curious, why is EVERYBODY docked bow in instead of stern in?

Bow in is required in many marinas on Lake Michigan, particularly if the center pier is earthen as mine is. Stern in causes erosion.

MonacoMike, I did not know that. That's a good point. In addition to that, docks are floating and it's easiest to egress/ingress the boat on the flat part of the dock instead of the angled part which connects the floating dock to the seawall. Also, the electrical pedestal is located toward the end of the dock. So, the design of the floating dock lends itself to bow in parking.
