New to us 2003 260DA upgrade questions

Hello everyone. After months of searching we finally found a boat....

The 260 we bought does not have a chartplotter / fishfinder so I was hoping for some recs. I am leaning toward the Raymarine a57D. We will be boating on Lake Erie around the Sandusky / Cleveland area.

Also, I want to upgrade the Clarion to a new unit that will allow Sirius and our iPods to run on it, anyone have any suggestions?

Congrats on the new boat! I too am also waiting to close on a new to me 2003 260DA - should be getting it within two weeks or so.

I have been looking at picking up the LOWRANCE HDS-5 Gen2. I currently have an older Eagle (same as lowrance) FishElite model that I love and has always served me well. If I go ahead with it I will probably also go with a thru-hull transducer and most likely flush mount it under the trim tab switches. They also can integrate other options like a fuel flow sensor which is also on my list since I will not have smartcraft gauges.
