Greetings. I am new to this site. My wife and I have owned our 250 DA for two years now. We live close enough to the coast to enjoy the best of both worlds. We're about a two and a half hour easy cruise from Georgetown, SC - could make it faster but the gas - uuuugggghh! We also enjoy a nice, quiet cruise down the Waccamaw and the ICW - just going nowhere and all day to get there. I'm sure some of you know what I mean. Anyway - I look forward to hearing from my fellow members. I'll offer any assistance that I can and will probably be asking for some, too. Until then...

Hey Traburne,
Welcome to CSR. Post your boat's information in your signature, it will help us know what you have when you post questions or frame of reference.

Sorry about that. I thought I had set up the signature but I must have forgotten to save it. Anyway - here's my info.

Welcome aboard. Thanks for updating your signature info. Hope to make it to Conway sometime.

Welcome....love those older sundancers.

Welcome! We area about 40miles inland of Conway and spend a good deal of time on the coastal rivers from Myrtle to Georgetown. Hope to meet you this summer!

Thanks NickySC. From where in SC do you hail?

Thank you Sweet Dreams, hope to meet you, too. It must be true that it's a small world - I work in Florence and it gets to be one long ride twice a day. Maybe if there were a connecting canal or waterway...

Secret Agent - good luck with that name thing. By the way, Cruizer looks like he/she (?) might just make one fine waterdog.

Thanks Jeff - I know, I've been looking this site over as a visitor for a couple of months now. Glad to finally be aboard.

quint4 - ain't it the truth. The newer style is certainly a head turner but the older ones are still pretty sharp. We love The Lady. I still have a little restoration to do, but as long as it's a labor of love I don't mind. By the way - good looking 290 you've got there.

Thanks Chuck1, we'll be looking for you.

Our boats are very similar. Your 250 was re-badged the 270 in 1992.

Quint4 -
Yeah, I had wondered about that, just hadn't tried to research it yet. I know that The Lady tapes 26' 8" yet is classified as a 25 footer. Go figure. I hope to get her portrait on here soon, just another thing that I haven't had time to do yet. But, there is still hope - I definitely plan to stop procrastinating... ...one day...
