Nice boat. Beautiful shape. Congratulations.

Welcome Fellow Buckeye...that looks great !...same layout as my 290.

Beautiful boat! Enjoy.

Thanks all, i have been looking for a couple of month's now and it is hard to find a nice boat in the 10K or less range as that as all i could budget for a boat and i saw some real garbage scows and fell into this one by accident and i am glad i did, looking forward to many years of enjoyment

Daniel,

I really like your boat. I too am from northeast Ohio and am looking for either a Weekender or Amberjack in your same price range. Any suggestions about where is best to look? I did find a very nice 85 Weekender for sale near Edgewater Park. I'm jealous....your boat looks great! Congrats!

Daniel,

I saw that Weekender too. Actually, my wife and I went to see it. The owners were very nice and so was the boat. I may make an offer on it, but I do wish it had a larger beam...it only has 8 ft, but the boat is in really nice shape.
Thanks for the info....

Ya the pics looked good to me. I know what you mean about a wider beam,I too would like a wider beam but everything i looked at was either too much or was trashed and would take more time and money than worth. It came down to this boat that was almost turn key and in very good condition or keep looking for who knows how long and I wanted to get back on the water sooner than later,so there was some compromise involved as there is in anything purchased used but I am boating again and I know I have a solid boat in above average condition that should keep me happy for a few years.I will some day upgrade to a bigger boat but this one even with the 8' beam rides quite well and perfoms fine with the 260 merc (36.5 mph gps measure calm water full fuel, 3 on board wot 4600 rpm measured 2 weeks ago on lake erie) good luck with your search and if you have any questions on the Weekender please PM me
