I purchased a 1991 Sea Ray 225BR with the 7.4L a few weeks ago and had it out a few times since then. Huge difference from the 17' br with ob motor that I had previously. Going to try to learn as much as I can over the winter about the maintenance and mechanical side. Lots of great information on the site
A few pictures:

That looks like a nice boat. I sold a 1987 210 Regal with a 454mag this summer. We had a lot of fun with that boat. Now I have a 2001 SeaRay 230 bowrider with a 496 mag, joined this site and there is a lot of information available on this site.

Welcome aboard, nice boat. Your signature says Vancouver but that sure looks like the William Bennet bridge facing south with the tip of Kalamoir park on the right and the mountains around Kicking Horse Canyon in the distance????

And the first pic looks just like the new government wharf with City Park in the background. And could that possibly be a Mt Boucherie look alike way in the back there?:grin:

My first Searay was a new 1991 BR225...with the 5.7 and Alpha drive. Had it for 15 years. Loved it. Enjoy yours.

Yes, that is the Okanagan Lake, not sure of the landmarks since that was my first time out on that lake. Purchased the boat in Kelowna, then we spent the day on the water and enjoyed some of that great lakeside food and drinks(Roses) Moored near the yacht club at the public warf. I now have the boat back on the coast. Those pictures were taken about a month ago, beautiful fall day on the lake for our maiden voyage.

PM us next time you're out here so we can try to hook up on the lake. The Admiral and I spend pretty much all of our time on the water from April to October, just floating around. The gang up here is startin' to call our boat the "Lollygaggin' Bar an' Grill". We've even got specialty fresh ground coffee on board now if you prefer lattes or cappuccinos.

What area of the Lower Mainland are you going to be boating?

Appreciate the offer, I plan on trailering to Pitt Lake, Alouette Lake, Chilliwack and Harrison this coming summer. A few day trips starting from Port Moody out to the nearby islands as well or perhaps Granville Island for lunch. Spent a few hours floating down the Pitt River a few weeks back, current has us going at a nice pace!

Yea, that's world class cruising right at your back door eh? Enjoy.

Yea, that is a beautiful boat to be a 1991 model! Enjoy and continue to take care of her.
