Back in 1989, we bought a new 230 weekender, cruised the apostle islands located in Lake Superior untill 1997, when we sold the boat and moved to Az.
Moved back to Wisonsin in 2005.
We must have done something right as my oldest son reciently purchased a boat and he and his young family are now cruising the Apostle Islands. This past 4th, they invited the wife and I out for a cruise. First time in a boat since 97. The boat bug bit the wife hard, which lead us to our recient purchase.
2005, 260 sundancer, a bit over 300 hours on the clock. Very clean, inside looks close to new, outside needed a good buff out and wax, but other than that, we are happy with it. We currently live 190 miles south of the port where we will launch it, and it will be stored at my son's place when not in use. Needless to say, we will be taking long weekends off for the rest of the season just to get some hours on it.
By the way, used this website as a resource prior to my purchase. Allot of good reading. I already have a few questions that will follow.
Thank you, Mike and Dianne
