are you telling me this boat is a SS? The title says 280 SR but the title also said the boat is aluminum

Correct. Sea Ray abbreviates Sundancer as “DA”, so I bet the SR you see refers to Sea Ray.

A ‘94 may have the model designation stamped on the transom near the HIN.

Question. What is correct lube in the bottle on the transom that says gear lube? Is it 80 90 gear lube like goes in a lower unit on an outboard?

Yes but the Bravo's have a clutch, so use the right stuff.
Hi-performance Quicksilver 80-90

thanks. the power steering? pump in the front of the engine says use the correct fluid! but does not say what to use. I thought I read in the manual it is DOT 3 break fluid. The reservoir on the port rear (I assume for the trim tabs) is a mystery also.

Try to figure out what's in there now, If it's red it's ATF if it's clear, power steering fluid . Basically any hydraulic oil will work.

That is a nice looking boat but I dont believe its a Sundancer. I think its a cuddy, which is what the SR denotes.
