Hello to all -

My wife & I recently purchased a '79 260 Sundancer from the 2nd owner....interior and exterior are excellent; waiting til Spring to eval the mechanical and electrical....started right up, though. Boat hasn't been used for 10 seasons.....will be moored at Lk Coeurd'Alene Idaho. Pics shows boat at seller's house...will post progress pics and questions.....thanks for the help in advance!

Looking forward to being part of this group and having a classic Sea Ray! :smt043

i had that boat as my first boat--with the reverse windscreen, ugly yellow and named Mellow Yellow.

Was on Lake Champlain in NY, and have the best memories of that boat.

All the best to you with it and hope you and your family enjoy the heck out of it

We just purchased our first 1982 260 Sundancer also!! We bought her in July, and took a few weeks to over haul the gear cases and enjoyed a month of cruising this summer! Enjoy your boat!!!

Mellow Yellow! Yeah, We spent a few summers with that boat after you sold it to our family. That boat was legendary on Lake Champlain....could see her coming all the way from Valcour. Unfortunately, the guy that bought it from the folks ended up letting it go to crap. Too bad, she was running and looking great when they sold it. Take Care John.
