Just stumbled on this site and joined immediately. The wife and I are Sea Ray owners since 1993 and lifelong boaters. We live in the Tampa Bay area and have a 400 Sedan bridge. Lasts week we traveled 200 miles RT on the ICW from Bahia Beach to Tween Waters on Captiva Island. During this trip we sat out 40mph winds from a passing NE cold front at Marina Jacks in Sarasota, had continual 15-20 mph winds, stayed a night at South Seas and then moved to Tween Waters marina where we later found ourselves sitting in less than 2-feet of water when the largest full moon in 15 years and winds sucked all the water out of Pine Island Sound. Did I say... Enjoying every minute? O'yeah. Our one day delay from Tween Waters put us at Long Boat key Moorings in the dark where the food and spirits are - does "to die for" have meaning here... Then made a 4:30am awakening to prep for a rough trip across Tampa Bay. Upon getting back in our slip I had less than two and a half hours to catch a flight to Ohio. Did I say... Enjoying every minute? O'yeah. Did I say it's snowing in Ohio? O'God!
Look forward to learing from you all and getting back to Tampa for more boating this weekend.
