New to Boating and just bought a 1984 v260 Sea Ray!!

well here I am. just bought a boat and am very excited. the 1984 is so pretty with all her teak!! the interior is in really great shape and I am sanding and restoring all the teak on the outside. it is amazing!! the engine has been replaced with a 350 mercruiser. Congrats. Did she come with the dead stuffed cat on the helm?
It will be tough for anyone to simply have the proper canvas lying around for you but take her by your local canvas shop, or a couple, for some quotes.

Nice find. I loved my 260. +1 on the canvas shop. I've only seen one used for sale in the last three years (it was after I sold my 260). Good luck and keep us posted on the process.

Your boat is very close to our 1986 260 that we just purchased. We have refinished the teak and I redid our upholstery and it is looking really nice (except for the water that is stll in the hull)..... anyways. I saw a camp enclosure and bimini top on craigs list not too long ago that would fit our boat. It did say it would fit a few years (it gave the years but I cant remember what they were). It is beige in colour so we passed on it but he was only asking 1,400.00. He said it was new or close to it. You might want to check it out. Good luck.

Welcome to CSR and congrats on the new boat! It reminds me of my old 260 DA. I had that boat for 22 years and loved it!! I am not a girl and did end up with a wife and kids and thus the need to move up!!! LOL
