New Tachometers

Question. If I happened to hook these up wrong (IGN in the SEND and vice versa) would that have a negative impact? I'm asking because since hooking up these tach's and getting my boat back into the lift/dock, I can't start it and it's almost like "IGNITION" related. Maybe I popped an overall fuse? Is there such a fuse the engines themselves? If so, where would I look? This was an easy install and I've wired up digital ignitions for my race cars in the past so I figured this could/should/would be a piece of cake LOL. I'm still learning all the nuances related to boat engines vs. car. Thanks, Tim
 
Fixed it and not sure why I was questioning my wiring. I moved the black switch from 8C to 40 and back to 8C.... presto fixed. Weird. :)

Now time to address the overheating issue on port engine.

I did not know that these will just plug and play with the senders that are already there. Aetna never mentioned that when I talked with them!
