Had my second TNT Carport installed a few weeks ago. A real value to keep snow/rain off the sunbrella cockpit cover during the off season. I planned an additional two feet above the arch for future radar mount & dome. I can also stand on the bow and not whack my head while walking around! I will still tarp her to keep sun/uv damage off the gelcoat. 10 five foot anchors and weight will keep her in place. 31ft is the most I could fit but 35ft would have been better. Just keeping the snow off was my main concern and working in the rain is easy now, Mike.

Nice time to put the extended swimplatform on, you will love it!! I put one on my 92' 300 8 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did.

Do you bock your trailer to keep the weight off of the tires??? I love the carport

We are looking at doing that! Thanks, Mike.

I did one year but it really does not save the tires or trailer springs. The trailer and radial tires are designed for the load. I always put concrete pavers under the tires to keep them out of the moist soil and on a dry surface, Mike.

looks nice. are you going to enclose the sides? around here wouldn't be much good with the wind blown snow.

Wind is not usually an issue here with snow.....we get the wet and heavy stuff 80% of the time. I may extend the sides down a few feet but not block the side windows....not that I'm looking for a view. I don't want it to get too dark for working conditions. I will tarp her next week, Mike.

Added one from swimplatforms.com this summer and love it!

Mike,
We're looking for something just like this. It would fit my 26' fine. If you don't mind, how much and where did you purchase? How hard was it to put up? Also, I see your installation is on a slight grade - did you have to excavate to keep the baseline level or are the legs different heights?

I have two now as you can see! Both are 12ft wide. The 270DA is 12ft to the arch and I want to add radar so I went with 12ft sides and 15ft peak. It is 31ft long and cost under $2,000 installed. You have to level the land it's on and it can be dirt, stone, concrete, etc. They used 10 five foot anchors for wind plus they do weight a lot. They deliver in 4-6 weeks with only a 10% deposit down. Pay balance once its set up. The newest 31ft one is 12 gauge galvanized steel and my smaller 26ft is 14 gauge galvanized steel with 5ft sides/8ft to peak. My older one is 7 years old with minor staining and the roof is still perfect. You can order different color trim and roof. I matched my house. A great value and the boats are at home, Mike.

Looks like a nice option to keep your boat at home. Could you put canvas on the sides with snaps to enclose it? Thay way you could un-snap it to let some light in.

Yes! That would be a great idea.....I don't want it to become a sail but could take them down if high winds were forecast. Thanks, Mike.
