New stereo

I am replacing my old Clarion (I think it is either a 5675 or 5475) with the M309. From reading other posts on here, everyone seemed to really like that model of stereo. I am looking forward to using the USB for Ipod and Iphone. Does anyone who has the M309 have any tips on using the iphone/ipads with the stereo? Also, my old clarion still works, sometimes. It will have sound, then it will not. I'm sure it may be a short or something. I did not have the time or patience to analyze the problem. If anyone is interested in the old clarion, PM me. Not looking to sell high dollar or anything, was just going to throw it away unless someone can use it.

Do you think it could be a direct plug and play replacement for a clairion 5671cd?? My cd player stops working when it get warm. If I let it cool for a while it starts working again. Radio portion works fine. If it would replace my control head I would like to have it. Can you send a picture of the Front and rear of the unit. Thanks. Mike.

I just found the paperwork and it is a 5675 model with single CD. When I go down to the boat I will take a picture and post. When my sound stops, it has no sound on radio and cd but still has power.
