I saw one of the 280SD at MM last week when I was there with my buddie looking for a small used sport boat. At first I thought it was a 290SD. Looked very similar to it.

The 260 looks like an improvement over the current model and I like the layout of the new 280.

I love my 280DA but I still miss my 240 SD.

The 260SD has the exact same dimensions as the current 240SD and the 260SD. I would guess that the new 260SD is a replacement for both the current 240SD and the old 260SD.

I am sure once the price is availabe on the new 260SD, all the current 240SD owners will see what a relative bargain price their 240SDs were. The 240SD has to be a milestone boat for Sea Ray and one of the best sport boats they ever made. (In a recent newsletter from our dealer, they announced they had sold over 1000 240SDs during the lifetime of this model.)

I loved my old 240SD and still miss it.

Bang for the buck you can't beat a 240. I'm undecided on the look of the helm on the new 260 though........kinda like the simple layout of the 240.

They look nice! Look like they have higher sides to me.

Sundecks work so well with a young family I think. But they are not fancy enough to give me 2' itis!

To me it looks like they took the 270SD and turned the swim platform into a 2 side lounge and added a bolt on swim platform. Then added 10K to the price.
I do like the barbecue option.
