New Sea Ray owner in Sturgeon Bay

We are new to boating this year, having bought a '90 Wellcraft Gran Sport in May and as of tomorrow morning, will be trading it in and moving up to a '99 400DA. We have been boating in Door County, WI. this summer, but live in the Twin Cities. We have a lake (Lake Minnetonka) 5 minutes from our house, but we gladly drive the 5 hours to boat on the Great Lakes!

Congrats on the new boat! I would love to boat on the Great Lakes sometime, but the good old Mississippi is in the backyard and offers lots of miles of travel as well. I do not know how I would handle having the boat 5 hours away...

Congrats and welcome. I have spent many weekends in Door county. Lived in Milwaukee and Watertown for years before relocating to the south. Own a piece of land there in Egg Harbor. Nothing on it just a spit piece of land.
