NEW! Sea Ray 350 SLX

"Super" bowriders are the in thing these days. I am not sure the market for these boats though, because it has to cost about $200k, right? I don't know how many people are out there paying that kind of money for a bowrider.

I'd say probably. Closer to $300 if it has yacht certification and head since the larger sun decks and SLX s are well over $150

The 300 SLX is like $174k base price so my guess was this might be in the $250k range. I guess enough people pay more than that for Chris Craft Corsairs, so maybe it makes sense to an extremely small segment of ultra wealthy boaters.

The CC incidentally cost more like half a million new and $200k used and doesn't even have the bow seating this has.

My 350 da In 09 was 387000 as equipped my buddy just bought the new 370da same as my 09 350 and payed 477000 with no radar no vessel view boat prices are out of control

A 340 Sundancer in 2007 was about $325k list. So prices definitely increase over time. Hard to get used to it,

LOA: 34 ft 6 in
Beam: 10 ft 6 in. Did this start out as a 29ft Sundancer?

Every Manufacturer seems to have a model like this. It makes sense if all you want is a day boat and love to have fun on the water with all your family, kids and their friends. You still have some of the conveniences of a cabin cruiser but loads of open cockpit (people) space. This boat would make a lot of sense on inland lakes and rivers. I would love to have one myself if it weren't for the price of admission.

I like it! I see advantages and disadvantages to it but overall I think it's a nice piece. With that being said would I buy one? Probably not. If I'm spending that kind of money I'm getting something that I can sleep on.

Great Lake of The Ozarks boat - have a lakehouse or condo and a great big day boat to take rough water.

That new 350 SLX is my dream boat. I for one am glad Sea Ray is building a model to compete with Formula and Chris Craft as well as the lesser builders. While I am not in a position to make a boat purchase of that magnitude, when the kids are gone something like that will be right up my alley. I'm glad their making them now, that way when I'm ready I'll be able to pick up a used one.

I also really like the new outboard sundecks. I'm not a fan of the redesign of the 210 and 230 SLX. As a matter of fact, other than the 205 I wouldn't purchase any I/O Sea Ray under 25 feet.

And when are they going to put 350's on the 370 venture to compete with persuits sc 365? I've seen the persuit, and the Sea Ray transom setup is 100x more functional. The whole layout is better on the Sea Ray but the powerband sucks.

Sounds like he paid too much!
My dealer has two new 2012 370's. One has a black hull and Yanmar diesels. Radar, upgraded stereo, etc. When I looked at it last year before buying my 350, they wanted around $450k. Their other 370 has axius stern drives as well as radar and I think their list on it was $417k. Both are still for sale. And those are the list price before negotiating. With that said, prices are not cheap. I also had no idea you could buy a 370 today without vessel view. I thought that was standard.

I think the 350SLX is an interesting concept, but it will be even more interesting to see how many they sell. Bow riders are very popular at my dealer right now.

wonder if we could cross the gulfstream with it. grin
